Weekend Watchlist
Four Weddings (KAN 11): Think Come Dine With Me, but with weddings. Two rounds have already aired, and it’s one of those shows where you pick up great words, phrases, and assumptions like: shiponi, lone lion, and “everyone knows the food in Tel Aviv isn’t good.”
And Just Like That: I’m late to season 2 (and already started season 3), but it’s such a fun hate-watch.
And still, a true feel-good recommendation: The Gilded Age, in case you haven’t joined in yet. Name-dropping: from the creators of Downton Abbey and starring Carrie Coon (Nora from The Leftovers) and Louisa Jacobson, one of Meryl Streep’s daughters.
